We have gotten settled in. Well as settled in as we can be.

Still have boxes upon boxes to unpack, but really don't know where anything is going.

Also, my dresser? It's been outside... being rained on. Lovely.

The cat and dog were not happy at first. But they have adjusted well.

I've gotten use to the place. No one bugs us. No kids running through the yard yelling. No close neighbors to annoy me. This may just work out after all.

My boys found two newborn orphaned kittens.

Who's taking care of them? Why me, of course!

I get to feed them with a medicine syringe and wipe their little bottoms to help them potty.

They are sleeping in a box with my heating pad on low.

They were really newborns. One still had afterbirth on it.

I tried setting them out there at feeding time. After about 2 hours I couldn't handle the poor babies crying for food.
