Valentine's Day

I was all pissed off because my hubby would not wake up and get the hell out of bed on Valentines Day.

I felt like such a fool!

He woke up and we went out to eat at Scotto's Italian Restaurant. I had Lasagna and a house salad. mmmmm.......

He spoiled me.

He bought me the Microsoft photo editing software to do my pictures. He bought me a wireless optical mouse for my laptop.

Then he bought me a camera. I mean this camera is THE SHIT!!! It is so cool!! He got me a 1gb memory stick, too! Plus a rechargeable battery thingy w/ 4 digital batteries!

It is a Sony Cybershot. It has SOUND!!! It has 7.2 MPs!!

Isn't that the coolest!

and, yes..... My hubby got VERY lucky that night!!

Mile-high matttress

I got a new $1000 mattress, that is way too tall for me and STINKS!!! Yes! I said, STINKS! They make them when they are ordered. I think they should let them air out before selling them! UGH!

Kenny does not like it.

The thing is taller than the dresser, nightstand, and almost as tall as the headboard!!

It comes to my belly button.

I was scared all night that I would roll off and break my damn neck.

I had to have my way and get the plush, pillow-top, w/ viscera memory foam mattress.

Where's the colors?

When I first started this blog I could choose fonts and colors, what happened to them? Now I can't choose anymore! Where'd they go??

It's after 3am. I've been of work since 2. Need to go to bed. But am I? Nope. LOL I need to pick up and work these hours if I am going to be up anyway. Might as well make some money.

I called the ortho and left a message today. Waiting for a call back.

Since Savannah started wearing the brace, it seems she has more trouble standing now. This is just so frustrating. I don't know what is right for my daughter!!!

I talked with my cousin tonight. He has a titanium hip and is only a couple of years older than me. When he was born they did not detect hip "clicks" so did not think he had dysplasia. His hip and fused to the bone out of the socket. Since it was fused it did not click.

He told me to not let them do surgery. To just give her time.

He said something about the muscles in his legs and when he tried to move them forward to take a step how painful it was.

What do I do?

Before she has another surgery, I will go for a second opinion.

Now, what about the brace???

I have a 12 year old son with Bipolar and ADHD. Talking to the same cousin tonight he told me about his little boy. SAME symptoms as my son. I can not believe it!! All the doctors visits and psychiatrist visits and tests. He has been through them. Although, his son was not dx w/ Bipolar.


I never knew there was someone in my family going through the same things as I was.

Since my Grandma died when I was 15, the family went there separate ways.

He lives near me, too. Just shocking.

Savannah is not sleeping well tonight. Better go see what she's fussing about this time!

Shopping....

I LOVE shopping. I really do. I hate that everything is so expensive, though.

I LOVED being able to walk into a store and knowing I had enough in my wallet to buy anything I wanted.

Knowing I COULD NOT buy anything I wanted was a downer though. Fucking bills.

It was still nice to know.

I know. I know. There are other more important things... Like BILLS, but damn, it was comfy.

OH! I have Degenerative Disk Disease and Osteo-srthritis. The mattress scam-man, I mean salesman, told me that I need to have my doctor write me a prescription for a new mattress and I can write it off on my taxes next year. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Just fucking hilarious. For 2 reasons. My family doctor goes by the adoring nickname of "E.R." Also, who would write a prescription for a mattress??? Where are they?? Think they could write me a script for some pain relievers for said back? Very Funny.

Paid some bills. BLAH!!!! I hate bills.

Treated my family to a big meal at the Texas Steakhouse and Saloon. OMG! It was delicious!!! I had a cactus colada! SOOOO yummy! It was a great meal. It was nice to go out and order what we wanted. We even got an APPETIZER!!!


Now, don't bother calling. We DID NOT hit the lottery. LMAO

Tax refund.

Yep. You heard right.

Poor enough to get money BACK from the IRS!! I know, nothing to brag about. LOL

I found a living room set I really wanted. But, the money ran out. Oh well. I will be sleeping well in about a week or so and all the bills were paid!
